My spouse is a PurpleHeart combat wounded Vietnam Marine. He & his buddies knew & despised McCain while still in-country. They were informed about his special treatment while still in the jungle. They considerd him a "collaborator". Marines are ingrained to "never surrender". My husband is still fighting for benefits. Wonder how much money McCain receives from the V.A.? War Hero? Not. My husband is more of a "War Hero" than McCain & his country still neglects him.

As a Marine Combat Vietnam Veteran who is for McCain over Hillary or Obama I believe you guys who "say" you are Vietnam veterans, probably "remfs", should learn the facts for sure before you run your heads. To quote a communist Vietnames official about McCain's special treatment is like hearing Hitler, Saddam or Osama claima they did nothing wrong.

Why don't you include the fact that honorable men such as Bud Day, Jerry Denton, and other fellow POWs have come out in support of John McCain? Why do you ignore the fact that the men who KNOW what he endured at the Hanoi Hilton support him? Do you discount what they said as "lies" too?

What you do is shameful--your whole schtick with the "live sightings" hoaxes and your smear campaigns against anyone who doesn't play along; the lies you spread, raising the hopes of families of lost servicemen. Your conspiracy theories about a "coverup" about POW/MIAs are disgusting and disgraceful.

Nevertheless, I don't suppose you'll ever give up your filthy fraud (I guess you have to make a living somehow, don't you?), but you will have to answer to God in the end. How you sleep at night is a mystery to me, although sociopaths do tend to have no conscience.

[As a Vet who spent 19 months in Afghanistan, I'm ashamed of what you people are doing here. John McCain endured more suffering than most people on here. I doubt that everyone here would have responded differently to torture and beatings. There were other POWs who said that McCain would come back to his cell bloodied and beaten. Why aren't their stories here? McCain could have accepted the offer to go home early but he chose to follow the Code of Conduct. First in, First out. He said that he would only go home if everyone who was captured before him was also allowed to go home and they refused.]

I understand your position that he went through much stress from the torture given McCain and the fact that different people have different thresholds as to their breaking point.

But do you realize what he told his captors when he broke? He told the enemy the routes of attack of his fellow airmen were taking and their targets, which he falsely told were hospitals, schools, ect. that would maximize the propaganda for the enemy from his own testimony.

In return, the enemy knew the routes of attack, and set up maximum defense along that route, and caused several of his pilot friends to be shot down, captured and killed. That is tactical information, the kind of information we never give, even unto death.

I do not believe that any veteran on this board holds it against McCain that he broke under stress, but the information he gave the enemy was certainly against the Code of Conduct you mentioned, which got unknown numbers of his fellow airmen killed or captured.

That alone tells us that the Code had nothing to do with his
refusal to be released, but had everything to do with the fact he was an Admiral's son, they knew it, he had cooperated and the word was going to be heard back home, and he would surely get better treatment if he stayed.

Then, upon coming home, he was treated as a hero, rode that horse to be Senator, then used his influence to insure the record at DOD never got to the public.

This he done by denying the families the tools and information of MIA's so that he could protect his secret. He became chairman of the committee and severely insulted the leader of these families, walked out of the meeting, and had DOD classify the documents (forever).

No way do I want this man to be President of the US. If he will do those things to others, what do you think he will do for the country?

If I have no other choice, I will either not vote, or may even Hillary, but never Obama. At least we know Hillary and all her faults, but Obama is a big bag of hot air, power obsessed, that will say anything to get elected.

My analysis of our situation is that the One World Government finally has the upper hand on the people of the US of A. I have been placing this message on forums and blogs for years about the conspiracy that has been going on since WWII. In the beginning they were called Bilderburgers, but are now called "Elitist's. It is being done by a group of the richest multibillionairs in the world today. It is truly time "We the People", who have lost our power of the vote, to start paying serious attention to the rout cause.It's all about GREED, for money and power, and people are being led by their own greed into following this 'Big Money Group' willingly into the trap. Liberals, who are their tools, are actually socialist/communist, who hope they are going to get some benefits by being Anti-American, but will be in for a shock when they too will be shackled, or slaughtered.

I have been for Mike Huckabee until he dropped out. I was very disappointed that he did as I had hopes that when McCain got exposed, Mike would be the choice at the convention.

Being that Ron Paul is still on the ballot, who would have been my second choice, he might fill the bill, no matter how many delegates he has. The convention would have to be put under extreme pressure from enough of the PEOPLE for that to happen.My only problem with Ron Paul is immediate withdrawal. We deserve the right to finish the job in Iraq, for the benefit of the fallen and those who have fought so hard for a peaceful settlement. I agree we should plan on withdrawing, when the commanders agree it is time, but not at the expense of honor, for those who have fought the good fight.

If that did not happen, then it will be time for Ron Paul/Mike Huckabee, to step up to a call from the Constitution Party to establish a third party. That is the only hope for this country. But it has to be the will of the PEOPLE to override the Liberal Media. The MSM are the tool that has been used to put both of these very qualified men down, OBVIOUSLY!.

I truly believe this would be a winner, as both have the support of most of the American people, who are fed up with both parties. Next step, clean out Congress.

But there is a problem. You fight fire with fire, and support money against "Big Money" is the problem, especially for an Independent. So what now? Does anyone have an answer?

It has reached a time that there are too many gullible, easily led voters, who are too stupid to see the hand writing on the wall, that vote for their own instead of the country. I see a day very soon, that they will wish they stayed at home, or at least had opened their eyes and hearts instead of their pocketbooks, which will be empty as their heads.

I had considered voting for McCain, I already had realised he was not such a straight talker as he was portrayed but I did believe that he was really a hero. In fact I found your website when I was looking for more info about his POW experience- -still thinking of him in heroic terms. At first I was skeptical but then I started really looking at this information here and the videos.

Now I realise why my late uncle, who was a Navy officer on an aircraft carrier in Vietnam, LOATHED McCain and said he was a traitor. At the time I did not understand why he used such a strong word. Now I think I have a pretty good idea why.

I am also so ashamed that I used to believe those who said "the POW/MIA" people were just conspiracy theory wackos. It was very unfair of me to think that without making an effort to check it out. Now seeing the story of men like Lt. Hopper and how much evidence there really is that these guys were abandoned by our country, AND how much effort people have put into covering it up, I am almost in shock.
I would like to say to all families of POWs/MIAs that I am very sorry for having thought what I did.

I now know I cant vote for McCain, no matter who the alternatives are. I would feel like I was spitting on those POWs/MIAs to vote for him.

The troops support and defend the constitution. If you support the troops then you will vote for the candidate who has the strongest ferver for the constitution. Right now that is Ron Paul.

McCain is a moderate socialist.
Obama is a liberal communist.
Clinton is a moderate communist.
Paul is a concervative constitutionalist.

My wife and I didn't vote for McCain in the CA primary. We went for Mitt. We have no idea how McCain has managed to sew up the nomination. Greg has a good idea. I think an independent conservative candidate just might carry every state but New York and possibly Illinois, and who needs those socialist-racist cretins?

All of my former friends who just happen to be Democrats turned against me in 2004, yet I never let myself be fished into any of their screaming arguments. I ignored them. I'm not a great supporter of President Bush but I certainly don't hate the guy like they do. However, he has totally blown it on immigration as has McCain. I can't stand seeing the country turn "Latino" and Arab; other than that, the president has done a pretty good job under the worst of circumstances.

With the elimination of millions of enemy ragheads, enemy Hispanics, and enemy Asians of one sort or another (none of them know how to behave in a civilized world or society), we will ultimately survive and prosper. For any snot-nosed, rotten-teeth liberals who read this, note the correct adjective "enemy" above. This has nothing to do with anyone's skin color; it never did and it never will. It's about the elimination of our uniquely American culture, drip by drip like a Mexican wet dream (really bad sex with really fat, ugly women, teenagers, and millions of babies born into intense poverty). John McCain came home and has had a pretty good life since Vietnam. Not so for many with whom I served in I Corps. I will never vote for McCain. He wants open borders and seems willing to screw Americans and America relentlessly. It is all about winning and staying in politics. Good salary, benefits, perks and retirement. That's what it is about. I'm voting for Ron Paul in the primary and a third party in the general election. I'll never give my vote to McCain. He is an arrogant dinosaur.

John McCain abandoned his fellow Americans in Southeast Asia, and now its time for America to abandon him. I'm voting for whoever runs against McCain, regardless of how bad of a candidate they are.
